A special set of resources for
Residence Hall Associations
The programs that were presented by George Proakis along with other
Northeastern University graduates at the February 1998 Conference of the North
East Affiliate of the National Association of College and University Residence
Halls (NACURH) in Boston Massachusetts.
Program details:
- Here's the program that rethinks the opportunities from NACURH.
Highlighting the potential that many NACURH members never realize, this
program shows the key to successful use of information from the regional and
national organizations. NCCs and delegates say that "more people should
learn these principles", and that "the presenters have SO much
experience". NACURH is More than Conferences,
and this program shows the reasons why.
- Looking for "good ideas and resources" for environmental
programs in the residence halls? Check out Save
the Earth and Start on Campus, a program developed to assist residence
hall leaders in making a difference in the world . . . by changing attitudes
in the halls.
- The program that one participant called "the best", with
"lots of great ideas." Here are the details of preparation,
recruitment, and training programs that have worked for Northeastern for the
past four years. Here is Operation Day One and
Beyond.
- Do you want to know what happens after graduation. Interested in
participating in community activities outside of school? Do you want to know
how to choose a job that will use your RHA experience after you graduate?
NEACURH alums will tell you the way. Look at the program that has been
called "very well prepared, informative, and organized." It's What
Next? Advice for the Working World.
